On March 4\u20135, 2025, the Moonshot Goal 6 Public Symposium and Internal General Meeting were held at Bellesalle Akihabara.<\/p>\n

On the first day (March 4), the public symposium took place both on-site and online, where 12 project managers, including Professor Hideo Kosaka, presented their research progress and deepened inter-project collaboration. Professor Kosaka gave a presentation on the “Development of Quantum Interfaces for Quantum Computing Networks,” outlining a path toward the realization of a superconducting-optical hybrid quantum computer through high-speed optical connections between superconducting qubits using a “microwave-optical quantum interface” based on diamond nitrogen-vacancy centers and resonators. He also reported on the development status and performance evaluation of key technologies, as well as theoretical estimates of conversion efficiency.<\/p>\n

On the second day (March 5), the internal general meeting was held on-site only. Building on the presentations from the previous day, poster sessions were conducted, fostering in-depth discussions on project outcomes and future prospects. Nine members from Kosaka Lab presented their research and actively engaged in discussions.<\/p>\n
