On July 24, 2025, the Director General of the Inter-University Research Institute Corporation High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK), visited the Quantum Information Research Center as part of his visit to Yokohama National University. Professor Kosaka provided an overview of our projects and outlined the future direction of our research activities.

Director General Shoji Asai kindly gave a seminar on KEK’s research into quantum-related technologies. The seminar was attended by students specializing in quantum research from the Kosaka Lab, the Horikiri Lab, the Hong–Akamatsu Lab, and the Minamino Lab, as well as members of the Quantum Information Research Center (QIC) and faculty from the Department of Engineering Science. It was a highly educational and insightful session.
