Aspire Exchange Visit by a PhD Student from Saarland University

Student Activities

Since November 10, David, a PhD student from Professor Becher’s group at Saarland University in Germany and a longtime research partner, has been visiting our lab.
David studies nonlinear optics for diamond color-center–based quantum repeaters, and his stay provides a valuable opportunity for him to learn about our latest research while we also get to learn from his expertise.

For our students, it has been an inspiring experience. They have actively discussed research with him and exchanged ideas about cultural differences in English.

David will remain with us until the end of November.

At our lab, we aim to continue improving our experimental techniques, expanding our global network of quantum researchers, and fostering international exchanges like this.
