Aspire Kickoff Meeting Held in Ulm, Germany

From June 3 to 6, 2025, the kickoff meeting for the international research program ASPIRE (Adopting Sustainable Partnerships for Innovative Research Ecosystem) took place at the University of Ulm in Germany. Professor Hideo Kosaka and Assistant Professor Yuhei Sekiguchi attended onsite on behalf of our lab.

At the meeting, each team shared their research through presentations, followed by open discussions on future directions and how to build effective collaboration moving forward.

Participants also had the chance to visit a leading research lab in Stuttgart. The lab is home to cutting-edge work in diamond quantum technology. During the tour, attendees got a close look at experimental setups, including dilution refrigerators, and exchanged insights that will help guide the next steps in the collaboration.

This kickoff meeting marked the start of ongoing discussions with our German partners, including students, to arrange exchange programs, share research progress, and explore future collaboration and research topics.
