A research report by Assistant Professor Yuhei Sekiguchi from our lab, titled “Quantum network technologies based on diamond NV centers,” originally published in Oyo Buturi 94, 385 (2025), has been translated and published in JSAP Review. This article highlights the cutting-edge efforts of our lab towards realizing quantum networks and quantum computers.
The technology introduced in this paper is fundamental to enabling quantum technologies such as distributed quantum computing and quantum cryptographic communication. In our lab, we continue to enhance the performance of nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers in diamond, explore high-performance color centers beyond NV centers, and work toward the construction of large-scale quantum networks.
