From November 20 to 21, 2025, the “Aspire ECR Workshop” of the Japan–Germany ASPIRE project was held at Tokyo Science University.
This international workshop focused on fostering academic exchange among early-career researchers (ECRs) working on diamond-related research, featuring presentations and exhibits on the latest results and future perspectives in the field.
From our lab, Assistant Professor Kurokawa, Assistant Professor Sekiguchi, M2 student Ito, and David, an exchange student from Saarland University, participated in the workshop.
Assistant Professor Kurokawa gave an oral presentation, while Assistant Professor Sekiguchi and M2 student Ito presented posters.
David’s participation, coming from Saarland University in Germany, highlights the active academic exchange fostered through the Japan–Germany ASPIRE program, in which Professor Kosaka is involved as a co-PI.
Taking part in this workshop was a valuable opportunity that will help further strengthen and expand our ongoing research collaboration with Germany.
